Sony Sandoval

Paul Joshua "Sonny" Sandoval (born May 16, 1974) is an American singer. He is best known as the lead singer of the alternative metal band P.O.D.

Sandoval was born in San Ysidro, California of Guamanian, Italian, Hawaiian, and Mexican descent.
Sandoval's mother, a devout Christian, died of leukemia. As his mother was of a Christian faith, this was a huge influence over Sonny especially after her death. He quickly turned his life around, and became a Christian emcee. He later joined the band Enoch, a band started by Wuv Bernardo, Gabe Portillo and Marcos Curiel, which, with the addition of Sandoval, became P.O.D.
Sandoval proclaims his musical roots to belong to reggae, rock, and rap - the cocktail which best personifies P.O.D.'s work. He is a big fan of Blindside, the Deftones, and Korn -- all of whom he remains close friends with. He graduated from high school with current WWE superstar Rey Mysterio, and in 2006 the band re-enacted Rey Mysterios theme song Booyaka 619.

He married his high school sweetheart Shannon Kelly in 1996, and they have two daughters, Nevaeh and Marley. Sandoval is widely credited with the sudden popularity of the name Nevaeh, which, as he announced on MTV, is Heaven spelled backwards.

Wuv Bernardo

Noah "Wuv" Bernardo Jr. (born 1972) is a founding member of the multi-platinum selling, San Diego based band P.O.D. He is also the cousin of the band's frontman Sonny Sandoval. Wuv has been playing drums most of his life. He is also co-owner of the Chula Vista Skate Shop, "The Orphinage".

Marcos Curiel

Curiel was born in California in 1974. He dropped out of high school in 1992 and started P.O.D. the same year, along with friend Wuv Bernardo.
In 2003 Curiel started another band called The Accident Experiment with Pete Stewart (Grammatrain, Tait). The Accident Experiment was signed to Rock Ridge Music and is preparing to tour behind their first full length L.P. United We Fear.
But now he's back to the band.

Traa Daniels

Mark "Traa" Daniels is the bassist of southern California rock band P.O.D.
Traa plays five-string Warwick (Dolphin and Thumb model) basses live, and has been known to use the occasional acoustic Carvin bass in the studio. (An AC50 can be heard on the cut "Sleeping Awake," written for the soundtrack of The Matrix Reloaded, in between the albums Satellite and Payable on Death).
Daniels has been a part of P.O.D. since 1994, and has since released eight albums - Snuff the Punk, Brown, Payable on Death Live, The Fundamental Elements of Southtown, Satellite, Payable on Death, Testify, and Greatest Hits: The Atlantic Years.
Traa is married with two children, listens to plenty of reggae, and as a bassist, has a jazz background.
Daniels is currently working on his signature bass, to be made by Warrior Bass.
